The Copilot AI app from Microsoft is now available for iPad, iPhone and Android. Ten days after its first release on December 19th in the Google Play Store for Android users, the software made its way to the Apple software Store on December 29th. The app has already received positive reviews and has started to gain a very large user base. The inclusion of GPT-4 and DALL-E 3 as standard makes Copilot AI one of the strongest generative AI chatbots on the market.

Copilot AI is free, simple to use, and has an intuitive interface. You don’t have to log in to use the app however if you want longer discussions and the ability to ask more questions, then all you need to do is sign in with your Microsoft account. You can type, or dictate your requests into the app and you can choose to switch on DALL-E 3 mode to create graphics based on written descriptions, and the GPT-4 mode to increase the accuracy of responses.

Copilot AI can help with many of the tasks you do on a regular basis, including writing emails, summarising documents and articles, planning trips, and even help you produce original content like blogs, stories. Written output can be further enhanced by using the DALL-E 3 image generator, which enables you to create images for anything from book illustrations to logos and social media posts.

Why Another Microsoft AI App?

Bing Chat already existed, so why roll out another app? Copilot AI differs from Bing Chat by concentrating only on AI-powered interactions and having a simple, intuitive user experience, whereas Bing Chat fuses the features of a search engine with AI chatbot functionality.

With the release of Copilot AI for Android, iPhone & iPad, Microsoft has not only expanded its library of AI-enabled mobile apps but has signalled its determination to incorporate the Copilot brand throughout its entire product line—which includes Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure, and GitHub Copilot. To sum up, Microsoft’s Copilot AI is a huge step forward in AI technology and provides users of iPhone, iPad, and Android with a strong tool for a range of jobs and creative projects.
